Export of fountain pens, stylograph pens and other pens from Namibia declines in 2016

In 2016 consumer goods export greatly decreased by 99.85 percent, according to revised statistics issued by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator sharply dropped from 5 809 kilogram in 2015 to 9 kilogram previous year, contrarily to the prior year when it rose by 714.73 percent. The overall changes for the previous 17 years hit a drop of 93.92%. As well as it has shown a fall at a 0.46 percent compound annual growth rate during the last five years with a marginal overall growth since the 2000. It averaged 3 077.94 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 16 518 kilogram in 2009 and record low of 8 kilogram in 2005.
