Sold production of fresh or chilled carcases and half-carcases of pig meat in Croatia decreases in 2017

The indicator decreased by 17.34% in 2017, according to figures released by European Commission. Pig meat sold production dropped by 5 930 000 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 4.4%. Croatia saw a raise of 55.71% in pig meat sold production during the last 17 years. Still it has had a fall at a 0.06% average annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 30 163 294.12 kilogram from 2001 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 39 399 000 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 17 977 000 kilogram in 2004.
