Import of not carded or combed staple fibres of polyesters to Pakistan climbs in 2017

In comparison with the previous year synthetic fiber import went up negligibly by 3.91 percent, adjusted statistics from United Nations Statistical Office show. The variable hardly climbed by 2 955 168 US Dollar, versus the prior year when it dropped by 45.29 percent. Pakistan saw a growth of 466.41% in synthetic fiber import during the last 15 years. Still it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.1 percent during the last five years with a slight overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 109 441 414.67 US Dollar from 2003 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 255 134 016 US Dollar in 2011 and record low of 13 160 478 US Dollar in 2004.
