Import of paraformaldehyde to Australia goes up in 2016

The variable sharply grew by 41.9% in 2016, according to new statistics issued by United Nations Statistical Office. Formaldehyde import strongly climbed by 43 414 US Dollar, versus the previous year when it dropped by 59.48 percent. Australia saw a decline of 77.31% in formaldehyde import over the past 29 years. Moreover, it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.15 percent over the last five years with a negligible overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 569 108.62 US Dollar from 1988 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 1 340 831 US Dollar in 1995 and record low of 103 611 US Dollar in 2015.
