Export of propelling or sliding pencils from Singapore: Growth in 2016

In 2016 consumer goods export greatly grew by 35.04 percent, according to revised data released by United Nations Statistical Office. Consumer goods export went up sharply from 214 366 US Dollar in 2015 to 289 484 US Dollar previous year, versus the prior year when it diminished by 2.58%. Singapore saw a growth of 34.61% in consumer goods export over the past 28 years. Though, it has had a drop at a 0.21% compound average annual growth rate during the last five years with a marginal overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 597 808.71 US Dollar from 1989 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 2 053 845 US Dollar in 2010 and record low of 214 366 US Dollar in 2015.
