Import of synthetic precious or semi-precious stone unworked or simply sawn or roughly shaped to Europe declines in 2017

According to figures issued by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2017 the variable declined greatly by 83.4%. Precious stone import sharply fell by 145 854.68 kilogram, compared to the previous year when it rose by 105.94 percent. It reveals the all-time low since 2000. The overall changes for the prior 18 years hit a fall of 79.64%. Furthermore, it has had a decline at a 0.16 percent average annual growth rate during the last five years with a marginal overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 139 494.96 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 229 821 kilogram in 2002.
