Import of synthetic precious or semi-precious stone unworked or simply sawn or roughly shaped to Europe decreases in 2017

The indicator diminished strongly by 83.4% in comparison with the same time a year ago, revised numbers from United Nations Statistical Office show. It's new all-time minimum since 2000 as the variable sharply decreased by 145 854.68 kilogram, versus the prior year when it went up by 105.94 percent. Europe saw a drop of 79.64% in precious stone import during the last 18 years. Likewise, it has shown a decline at a 0.16 percent compound average annual growth rate during the five years with a slight overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 139 494.96 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its maximum of 229 821 kilogram in 2002.
