Export of frozen whole albacore, longfin tunas from Spain: Decrease in 2017

According to figures announced by United Nations Statistical Office, the variable fell by 16.63% in comparison to the prior year. Frozen tunas export decreased from 1 719 492 kilogram in 2016 to 1 433 563.75 kilogram previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it declined by 12.89%. Spain saw a drop of 87.47% in frozen tunas export during the last 29 years. Moreover, it has attained a 0.01 percent compound average annual growth rate during the five years with a modest overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 6 300 304.06 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 17 179 698 kilogram in 2002 and record low of 1 132 532 kilogram in 1992.
