Import of garments made up of textile felts and nonwoven fabric to Cabo Verde: Diminution in 2016

According to data released by United Nations Statistical Office, apparel import sharply declined by 72.18 percent compared with the prior year. Apparel import dropped greatly from 629 kilogram in 2015 to 175 kilogram previous year, versus the prior year when it rose by 529 percent. The overall changes for the previous 20 years attained a diminution of 59.21%. As well as it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.48% over the five years with a marginal overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 2 629.95 kilogram from 1997 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 29 489 kilogram in 2009 and record low of 5 kilogram in 2006.
