New vehicles registrations in Bahrain goes down in 2017

According to revised data issued by OICA, compared to the previous year the variable dropped by 19.05 percent. The indicator fell from 46 300 to 37 482, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 20.58 percent. Bahrain saw a raise of 87.41% in vehicle registration during the last 13 years. However, it has shown a diminution at a 0.07 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a marginal overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 39 321.69 from 2005 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 61 100 in 2014 and record low of 20 000 in 2005.
