Import of sacks and bags of paper, paperboard, cellulose wadding or webs of cellulose fibres with a base width more than 40 cm to Cyprus: Increase in 2017

European Commission announced that paper import rose by 20.73 percent in comparison to the previous year. Paper import went up from 703 900 kilogram to 849 800 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it grew by 26.74 percent. The overall changes for the previous 15 years attained a diminution of 36.49%. Besides, it has shown a decrease at a 0.03% compound average annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 1 209 046.67 kilogram from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 1 854 100 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 555 400 kilogram in 2015.
