Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres packaged for retail sale to Estonia: Fall in 2016

Yarn import diminished sharply by 50 percent compared with the previous year, according to data published by European Commission. Yarn import strongly went down by 500 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 16.67%. Estonia saw a rise of 400% in yarn import during the last 9 years. Furthermore, it has attained the compound average annual growth rate of 0.2 percent over the 5 years with a slight overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 522.22 kilogram from 2008 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 1 200 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 100 kilogram in 2010.
