Import of chemical wood pulp, sulphite, other than dissolving grades to Latvia goes down in 2017

According to statistics presented by European Commission, the variable sharply fell by 85.71% in comparison to the prior year. Chemical pulp import diminished greatly from 17 780 Euro to 2 540 Euro, in contrast to the previous year when it climbed by 469.87%. It reached its 17-year low. The overall changes for the prior 17 years attained a decrease of 84.24%. Moreover, it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.38 percent during the five years with a negligible overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 19 722.94 Euro from 2001 to 2017 and it hit its maximum of 41 750 Euro in 2006.
