Export of sacks and bags of knitted or crocheted polyethylene or polypropylene strip used for packing goods from Ireland rises in 2017

In comparison with 2016 consumer good export rose strongly by 351.72 percent, according to adjusted figures issued by European Commission. Consumer good export sharply grew by 1 020 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 45 percent. The overall changes for the previous 10 years reached a decline of 91.01%. Moreover, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.6 percent during the 5 years with a negligible overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 35 200 Euro from 2008 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 128 430 Euro in 2012 and record low of 200 Euro in 2015.
