Export of horse, ass, mule, hinny meat from Canada: Fall in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that horse meat export decreased by 28.81 percent in 2017. Horse meat export dropped from 57 965 524 US Dollar in 2016 to 41 263 272 US Dollar previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 14.07 percent. Canada saw a fall of 30.66% in horse meat export during the last 29 years. As well as it has had a diminution at a 0.12% compound annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall growth since the 1989. It averaged 58 751 836.97 US Dollar from 1989 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 103 615 808 US Dollar in 2008 and record low of 38 027 180 US Dollar in 1994.
