Lead in concentrates production in Mexico goes down in 2016

According to statistics announced by U.S. Geological Survey, compared to the previous year the variable slightly diminished by 1.57%. Lead production negligibly fell from 254 000 metric ton in 2015 to 250 000 metric ton prior year, in contrast to the previous year when it increased by 1.6 percent. Mexico saw a increase of 50.55% in lead production during the last 19 years. Besides, it has shown the compound annual growth rate of 0.04 percent over the last 5 years with a marginal overall growth since the 1998. It averaged 167 094.32 metric ton from 1998 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 254 000 metric ton in 2015 and record low of 100 725 metric ton in 2008.
