Export of yarn of synthetic staple fibres not packaged for retail sale from Lithuania goes down in 2017

European Commission published that yarn export went down by 20.65 percent in comparison with the previous year. It demonstrates the all-time minimum since 2003 as the indicator dropped by 283 800 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 13.12%. Lithuania saw a decrease of 52.48% in yarn export over the past 15 years. Likewise, it has attained a drop at a 0.12 percent compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a marginal overall fall since the 2003. It averaged 2 197 866.67 kilogram from 2003 to 2017 and it attained its maximum of 3 546 800 kilogram in 2006.
