Import of bells, gongs of base metal to Brunei increases in 2016

Consumer goods import strongly grew by 85.68 percent in 2016, adjusted statistics from United Nations Statistical Office illustrate. Consumer goods import increased sharply from 2 850 US Dollar to 5 292 US Dollar, versus the prior year when it fell by 89.87%. Brunei saw a decrease of 52.75% in consumer goods import over the past 25 years. Besides, it has attained a fall at a 0.21 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a negligible overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 16 796.52 US Dollar from 1992 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 119 881 US Dollar in 1994 and record low of 1 526 US Dollar in 1998.
