Export of woodfree fine paper weighing 40-150 g/m2 from Switzerland: Drop in 2017

According to numbers announced by United Nations Statistical Office, paper export strongly declined by 52.93 percent compared to the prior year. It hit its 30-year low as paper export decreased sharply by 10 136 750 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it dropped by 56.19 percent. Switzerland saw a decrease of 63.23% in paper export over the past 30 years. Moreover, it has attained a negative CAGR of 0.27% during the 5 years with a slight overall rise since the 1988. It averaged 43 174 311.6 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it attained its maximum of 72 522 904 kilogram in 2010.
