Import of rattan used primarily for plaiting to Cyprus falls in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office announced that import of rattan used primarily for plaiting declined by 28.39 percent in comparison to the prior year. Import of rattan used primarily for plaiting fell from 2 744 kilogram in 2016 to 1 965 kilogram previous year, versus the prior year when it went up by 61.41 percent. Cyprus saw a diminution of 97.91% in import of rattan used primarily for plaiting over the past 29 years. Furthermore, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.07 percent over the last five years with a slight overall decrease since the 1989. It averaged 18 025.21 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 94 236 kilogram in 1989 and record low of 668 kilogram in 2007.
