Import of maize bran, sharps, other residues to Japan declines in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office announced that maize import fell by 11.64 percent compared to 2016. Maize import decreased by 8 452.38 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 18.97%. Japan saw a raise of 386.34% in maize import over the past 30 years. However, it has had a negative CAGR of 0.41 percent during the five years with a slight overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 810 430.25 US Dollar from 1988 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 2 626 690 US Dollar in 2010 and record low of 12 289 US Dollar in 1990.
