Jet fuel import in Netherlands: Drop in May 2018

Compared with the prior month jet fuel import fell by 5.65%, revised figures from JODI Data indicate. The indicator dropped by 126.08 thousand barrels, contrarily to the previous month when it went up by 60.8 percent. The year before, this fluctuation reached -44.41 percent and the jet fuel import hit 1 489.32 thousand barrels in May 2017. When examining the year-on-year situation, a 41.27% raise can be reported between May 2017 and May 2018. The overall changes for the prior 9 years attained a diminution of 30.1%. Compared to its average, the jet fuel import is now lower as the mean equals 2 258.56 thousand barrels with a sharp overall growth since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 4 869.84 thousand barrels in July 2016 and record low of 212.76 thousand barrels in January 2014.
