Jet fuel import in Netherlands: Increase in June 2018

In comparison with the month before the indicator grew by 14.29%, according to numbers released by JODI Data. Jet fuel import rose from 2 758 thousand barrels to 3 152 thousand barrels, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it went up by 23.67%. When looking at 2017, it can be noted that the variable was rising by 51.32% and hit 2 253.68 thousand barrels in June. Year-on-year, this illustrates a 39.86 percent shift between June 2017 and the same month in 2018. Netherlands saw an increase of 4.71% in jet fuel import during the last 9 years. Likewise, the jet fuel import is now above average of 2 272.14 thousand barrels with a sharp overall growth since the start of time series. It attained its all-time high of 4 869.84 thousand barrels in July 2016 and record low of 212.76 thousand barrels in January 2014.
