Import of granules of pig iron or spiegeleisen to El Salvador declines in 2017

Compared with the prior year pig iron import dropped by 5.96 percent, new statistics from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. Pig iron import declined by 3 411.12 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 13.31%. El Salvador saw a growth of 3 984.12% in pig iron import during the last 24 years. However, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.06% over the 5 years with a modest overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 47 194.08 US Dollar from 1994 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 92 414 US Dollar in 1997 and record low of 1 317 US Dollar in 1994.
