Fuel oil consumption in smelting and pressing of ferrous metals in China: Diminution in 2015

China National Statistical Office announced that fuel oil consumption strongly diminished by 30.66% compared with the previous year. It displays the all-time minimum since 2000 as the indicator sharply fell from 5.48 ten thousand metric ton to 3.8 ten thousand metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 31.41 percent. The overall changes for the previous 16 years reached a diminution of 98.86%. Furthermore, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.16% over the 5 years with a slight overall fall since the 2000. It averaged 129.5 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it hit its maximum of 332.01 ten thousand metric ton in 2000.
