Export of heparin for therapeutic use from Pakistan: Fall in 2016

In comparison with the previous year pharmaceutical export sharply decreased by 75.63%, according to new figures released by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable strongly went down by 117 287 US Dollar, contrarily to the prior year when it went up by 694.37 percent. Pakistan saw a growth of 372.52% in pharmaceutical export over the past 11 years. However, it has attained a diminution at a 0.22% compound annual growth rate over the last five years with a slight overall increase since the 2006. It averaged 45 157.73 US Dollar from 2006 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 155 084 US Dollar in 2015 and record low of 3 404 US Dollar in 2008.
