Light commercial vehicles production in Mexico rises in 2017

According to data announced by OICA, the variable grew sharply by 36.71 percent compared with 2016. Light commercial vehicle production greatly went up from 1 463 889 to 2 001 255, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 3.13%. It's new all-time high since 1997. Mexico saw a growth of 316.93% in light commercial vehicle production during the last 21 years. Besides, it has shown a 0.12% average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a negligible overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 896 264.57 from 1997 to 2017 and it attained its minimum of 439 638 in 1998.
