Turnings and borings shipments of scrap in United States falls in 2014

U.S. Geological Survey published that the indicator sharply dropped by 33.33 percent compared to the prior year. Iron and steel shipments greatly fell by 1 thousand tonnes, in contrast to the previous year when it climbed by 50 percent. The overall changes for the prior 13 years hit a decrease of 91.45%. As well as the iron and steel shipments is now smaller than its average which equals 5.22 thousand tonnes and the variable indicates a moderate overall diminution since the start of time series. It reached its all-time high of 23.39 thousand tonnes in 2002 and record low of 1 thousand tonnes in 2008.
