Turnings and borings shipments of scrap in United States decreases in 2014

U.S. Geological Survey published that in 2014 the variable diminished strongly by 33.33 percent. The indicator sharply fell by 1 thousand tonnes, versus the previous year when it climbed by 50%. United States saw a decline of 91.45% in iron and steel shipments during the last 13 years. Besides, the iron and steel shipments is now below average of 5.22 thousand tonnes and the variable pinpoints a moderate overall diminution since the start of observations. It attained its all-time high of 23.39 thousand tonnes in 2002 and record low of 1 thousand tonnes in 2008.
