Import of sawdust and wood waste and scrap to Namibia increases in 2016

In comparison with the prior year the variable rose by 8.06 percent, revised statistics from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. It pinpoints the all-time peak since 2000 as wood product import increased from 168 417 US Dollar to 181 989 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it climbed by 176.37 percent. Namibia saw an increase of 767.98% in wood product import over the past 17 years. As well as it has shown a 0.02 percent compound annual growth rate during the last five years with a modest overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 54 741.29 US Dollar from 2000 to 2016 and it hit its minimum of 1 198 US Dollar in 2007.
