Motor and aviation gasoline demand in Belgium climbs in May 2018

According to updated data issued by JODI Data, the variable increased by 10.64% in May 2018. The indicator rose from 1 191.45 thousand barrels to 1 318.2 thousand barrels, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it grew by 0.71%. The prior year, this fluctuation attained 11.02 percent and the variable reached 1 191.45 thousand barrels the same month the year before. To sum up, the indicator was 10.64 percent larger in May 2017 than in May of the year after. Belgium saw a drop of 6.59% in motor and aviation gasoline demand over the past 16 years. Moreover, the motor and aviation gasoline demand is now bigger than its average which equals 1 055.95 thousand barrels with a moderate overall decrease since the 2002. It hit its all-time high of 1 850.55 thousand barrels in December 2004 and record low of 464.75 thousand barrels in December 2007.
