Motor and aviation gasoline demand in Belgium goes down in June 2018

In June 2018 motor and aviation gasoline demand declined by 6.41 percent, according to adjusted figures issued by JODI Data. Motor and aviation gasoline demand decreased from 1 318.2 thousand barrels to 1 233.7 thousand barrels, versus the previous month when it rose by 10.64%. The same month the year before, the indicator diminished by -4.96 percent and attained 1 132.3 thousand barrels. Year-on-year, this demonstrates a 8.96% variation between June 2017 and the same month the year after. Belgium saw a decrease of 12.57% in motor and aviation gasoline demand during the last 16 years. Compared to its average, the motor and aviation gasoline demand is now bigger as the mean equals 1 056.85 thousand barrels with a moderate overall decline since the start of time series. It hit its all-time high of 1 850.55 thousand barrels in December 2004 and record low of 464.75 thousand barrels in December 2007.
