Stainless steel mill products and scrap exports in United States declines in 2015

The variable hardly went down by 3.39% in 2015, according to new statistics published by U.S. Geological Survey. Chromium export negligibly fell from 236 000 metric ton to 228 000 metric ton, in contrast to the previous year when it increased by 8.76 percent. United States saw a rise of 117.14% in chromium export over the past 14 years. Furthermore, it has attained a growth at a 0.01% CAGR over the 5 years with a slight overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 200 071.43 metric ton from 2002 to 2015 and it hit its all-time high of 263 000 metric ton in 2009 and record low of 105 000 metric ton in 2002.
