Annual rate for lodging private construction spending in United States: Fall in July 2018

In comparison to the prior month construction spending rate fell slightly by 0.21 percent, refreshed figures from U.S. Census Bureau display. The variable diminished hardly by 65 million US Dollars, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it declined by 0.29%. In 2017, this fluctuation hit 0.79 percent and the indicator reached 28 170 million US Dollars in July of the year before. In sum, the variable was 7.85 percent larger in July 2017 than in July 2018. United States saw an increase of 160.37% in construction spending rate during the last 16 years. Furthermore, the construction spending rate is now above average of 18 294.54 million US Dollars with a marginal overall raise since the start of observations. It attained its all-time high of 37 793 million US Dollars in August 2008 and record low of 7 947 million US Dollars in July 2011.
