New vehicles registrations in Burundi declines in 2017

Vehicle registration strongly went down by 85.56 percent in 2017, according to adjusted data released by OICA. The indicator greatly diminished from 900 to 130, contrarily to the previous year when it went up by 125 percent. It's new all-time minimum since 2005. The overall changes for the prior 13 years reached a fall of 87%. Furthermore, it has had a drop at a 0.25% compound annual growth rate during the five years with a slight overall decrease since the 2005. It averaged 697.69 from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its maximum of 1 100 in 2007.
