Import of sections l/t of iron or non-alloy steel not further worked than hot-rolled, hot-drawn or extruded, of a height of more than 80 mm to Iceland climbs in 2017

Compared with the previous year metal products import rose by 29.35%, refreshed numbers from United Nations Statistical Office present. The indicator went up by 23 594 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 55.68%. Iceland saw a rise of 27.28% in metal products import over the past 30 years. Likewise, it has had a raise at a 0.29% CAGR over the last five years with a marginal overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 68 331.47 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 125 380 kilogram in 1997 and record low of 20 872 kilogram in 1990.
