Household expenditure on liquor with soda and fruit chu-hi and cocktail in Japan rises in 2016

Alcoholic beverages expenditure rose by 13.27 percent in comparison to the same time a year ago, adjusted statistics from Japan National Statistical Office reveal. The variable increased by 281 Japanese Yen, compared to the prior year when it decreased by 23.01 percent. The overall changes for the previous 12 years hit a decline of 16%. As well as it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.01 percent over the five years with a negligible overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 2 883.67 Japanese Yen from 2005 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 4 337 Japanese Yen in 2009 and record low of 2 118 Japanese Yen in 2015.
