Export of medicaments of other antibiotics not packaged for retail sale from Ireland: Raise in 2017

Compared to the previous year the variable greatly climbed by 129.82 percent, according to adjusted data issued by European Commission. Antibiotic export grew strongly from 260 090 Euro to 597 730 Euro, in comparison to the prior year when it went down by 55.05 percent. Ireland saw a diminution of 38.9% in antibiotic export during the last 23 years. Besides, it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.3 percent over the last five years with a slight overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 2 581 677.39 Euro from 1995 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 10 819 730 Euro in 2005 and record low of 132 160 Euro in 2008.
