Export of printed calendars from Panama: Decline in 2016

In comparison with 2015 books export sharply decreased by 30.98 percent, according to adjusted numbers released by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable dropped strongly from 124 145 US Dollar in 2015 to 85 685 US Dollar prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it declined by 71.43%. Panama saw an increase of 7 975.87% in books export during the last 22 years. Though, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.09 percent during the last five years with a marginal overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 80 811.68 US Dollar from 1995 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 434 482 US Dollar in 2014 and record low of 85 US Dollar in 2003.
