Export of fresh or chilled swine carcasses and half carcasses from Lithuania drops in 2017

Pork export dropped by 14.4 percent compared with one year earlier, according to data released by United Nations Statistical Office. Pork export diminished by 257 874 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 51.62%. Lithuania saw a raise of 1 459.82% in pork export over the past 24 years. However, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.1 percent over the last 5 years with a slight overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 1 895 077.08 US Dollar from 1994 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 5 929 394 US Dollar in 2012 and record low of 453 US Dollar in 1999.
