In comparison with the previous year the variable strongly increased by 34.64 percent, according to statistics issued by European Commission. Flax yarn import climbed sharply by 13 360 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it grew by 2 341.14 percent. It demonstrates the all-time high since 2005. Slovenia saw a rise of 1 492.94% in flax yarn import over the past 13 years. Likewise, it has shown an increase at a 0.65 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a modest overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 9 863.08 Euro from 2005 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 30 Euro in 2009.
