Number of dial-up subscribers of internet in China declines in 2017

According to refreshed numbers issued by China National Statistical Office, the indicator dropped by 22.08% in 2017. The variable decreased from 306.33 millions in 2016 to 238.68 millions previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 7.63%. The overall changes for the previous 23 years hit an increase of 33 997.14%. However, it has attained a decrease at a 0.13 percent CAGR during the 5 years with a slight overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 1 504.51 millions from 1995 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 5 653.1 millions in 2003 and record low of 0.7 millions in 1995.
