Import of frames and forks for bicycles to Ireland decreases in 2016

According to figures published by European Commission, the variable sharply dropped by 51.28% in comparison to the same time an year ago. Bicycles import went down greatly from 259 130 Euro to 126 240 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 77.77 percent. It reached its 14-year low. Ireland saw a decline of 96.57% in bicycles import over the past 14 years. Furthermore, it has had a diminution at a 0.14% average annual growth rate during the five years with a modest overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 635 508.57 Euro from 2003 to 2016 and it hit its maximum of 3 679 620 Euro in 2003.
