Export of roses from Guatemala: Decline in 2016

Compared with the previous year cut flower export dropped barely by 3.69%, according to data announced by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator slightly went down by 3 100 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it climbed by 6.68%. The overall changes for the previous 21 years hit a rise of 622 207.69%. However, it has shown a decline at a 0.09 percent average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a modest overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 146 161.48 kilogram from 1996 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 608 276 kilogram in 2007 and record low of 13 kilogram in 1996.
