Import of crude palm oil to Cameroon rises in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office announced that palm oil import sharply grew by 41 108 670.59 percent compared with the prior year. Palm oil import rose strongly from 68 kilogram in 2015 to 27 953 964 kilogram previous year, in contrast to the prior year when it declined by 100%. The overall changes for the previous 21 years hit a rise of 3 085 326.49%. However, it has attained a decline at a 0.12 percent compound annual growth rate during the 5 years with a marginal overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 14 196 599.33 kilogram from 1996 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 55 876 764 kilogram in 2013 and record low of 50 kilogram in 1999.
