Import of crude palm oil to Cameroon rises in 2016

Palm oil import sharply rose by 41 108 670.59 percent in comparison with the prior year, revised figures from United Nations Statistical Office pinpoint. The indicator greatly went up by 27 953 896 kilogram, versus the previous year when it diminished by 100 percent. The overall changes for the prior 21 years reached a rise of 3 085 326.49%. Still it has shown a drop at a 0.12% compound annual growth rate over the 5 years with a negligible overall growth since the 1996. It averaged 14 196 599.33 kilogram from 1996 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 55 876 764 kilogram in 2013 and record low of 50 kilogram in 1999.
