Petrochemical feedstock import in Brazil increases in June 2018

According to revised numbers announced by JODI Data, the variable climbed by 6.13 percent compared with the prior month. Refined oil products import rose by 6.57 thousand barrels per day, contrarily to the previous month when it declined by 3.8%. The figures hit 122.83 thousand barrels per day in June 2017, which is a 27.18% shift in comparison to the previous month of 2017. This illustrates a -7.35% fluctuation between June 2017 and June of the year after. Brazil saw a diminution of 32.2% in refined oil products import during the last 9 years. Compared to its average, the refined oil products import is now smaller as the mean equals 180.26 thousand barrels per day with a moderate overall drop since the start of time series. It reached its all-time high of 539.84 thousand barrels per day in March 2011 and record low of 20.55 thousand barrels per day in January 2016.
