Export of manicure or pedicure sets and instruments from Barbados increases in 2016

The indicator went up greatly by 329.33 percent in comparison to the prior year, according to refreshed statistics issued by United Nations Statistical Office. Consumer goods export grew sharply by 247 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 275 percent. Barbados saw an increase of 3 120% in consumer goods export during the last 19 years. Still it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.09 percent over the five years with a slight overall rise since the 1998. It averaged 168.53 kilogram from 1998 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 965 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 1 kilogram in 2013.
