Petrochemical feedstock import in Ukraine rises in May 2018

JODI Data announced that the indicator strongly rose by 89.61 percent compared with the prior month. Refined oil products import grew greatly by 69 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it went up by 8.45 percent. The data attained 102 thousand tonnes in May 2017, which is a 17.24 percent change compared to the prior month of 2017. When considering the year-on-year setting, a 43.14 percent growth can be reported between May 2017 and the same month the year after. Ukraine saw a rise of 247.62% in refined oil products import over the past 7 years. Likewise, the refined oil products import is now higher than its average which equals 70.03 thousand tonnes with a overall increase since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 148 thousand tonnes in August 2017 and record low of 21 thousand tonnes in June 2011.
