The European Union Greenhouse Gas Emissions is set to reach 2,250 Million Metric Tons by 2026 from 2,420 Million Metric Tons, will be down by 3.1% per year. Since 1976, the demand was up 1.2% year on year totalising 34,410 Million Metric Tons. The United States, India and Russia respectively ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking.
