China is set to be the largest producer of strawberries globally, with production reaching 3.9 million metric tons by 2026. This is an increase of 2.2% year on year since 2021, when production was 3.4 million metric tons. Over the past 33 years, Chinese production has grown by an average of 4.8% year on year. The United States, Mexico and Egypt are the second, third and fourth largest producers of strawberries respectively.
