The total global demand for sheep imports has decreased 1% year-on-year since 2017. In 2021, Saudi Arabia was the biggest importer with $551 million, followed by Qatar, Kuwait and Israel. Ivory Coast saw the largest growth in imports, up 109.3% year-on-year, while Canada saw a 59.8% decrease since 2017.
