Introduction
At the February 2014 RSA Security Conference, Frost & Sullivan noted that the distinctive theme of the show was visibility. Essentially, before security professionals can increase the efficacy of an organization’s network security posture, they must first comprehensively assess security status. Improving the visibility across network security technologies is an important first step toward improving the efficacy of security tools. However, it is but a first step.

We predict that the theme of the April 2015 RSA Security Conference will be automation. Noting the expanding role of Security Operations Centers (SOCs) in becoming more action focused, we are confident in this early prediction.
