Green Plains Inc. (Green Plains) is a diversified commodity-processing vertical integrated company that produces, markets, and distributes ethanol. The company carries out grain handling and storage; ethanol, distiller grains, and corn oil production; and marketing and distribution of its products. It market wet, modified wet and dried distiller grains to local markets and dried distiller grains to local, national and international markets. Green Plains sell ethanol to various markets through sales agreements with integrated energy companies; retailers, traders and resellers in the US and exports to Brazil, Canada, Europe and other international markets. The company has cattle feedlot operation in Kansas; grain elevators in Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri; dry mill ethanol production plants in Nebraska, Indiana, Minnesota, Texas, Virginia, Iowa, Tennessee, and Michigan; and eight fuel terminal facilities at Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Oklahoma rail lines.
