The Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd (PortBris) is planning to construct a cruise ship terminal in Queensland, Australia.

The project involves the construction of a cruise ship terminal on 20ha land and is capable of hosting ships up to 360m long and construction of terminal building is 9,300 m2 connected to a 200mtr wharf along with two air bridges. It includes the construction of docks, an administrative building, container yards, access roads, warehouses and related infrastructure.

The Queensland Government and PortBris are in the process of appointing developer for the project and are negotiating with Royal Caribbean International and Carnival Cruises.

On February 12, 2016, PortBris obtained stage one approvals for the project.

In April 2017, An in-principle agreement was signed between Queensland Government, Brisbane City Council and Queensland Urban Utilities to finalize the proposal.

As of October 2017, PortBris secured approvals and expected to start site preparation activities by November 2017.

Construction of the wharf is expected to commence by July 2018, and work on the terminal is expected to commence by November 2018.
